Standard 5x5 league, 12 teams

I Get: Carlos Gonzales, Eric Hosmer, Carl Crawford (who I would probably drop to grab Daniel Hudson off waivers because i already have a lot of outfielders)
He gets: Bryce Harper, Joe Nathan, Jordan Zimmerman

I really want to accept it, and then turn around and trade Derek Jeter or Dee Gordon for a SP that equals their value. I feel like this is a sell high situation on Bryce Harper, and a buy low on Hosmer. However, losing Zimmerman (who unfortunately is my best SP) hurts, and losing Nathan takes a bite out of my saves, but I get CarGo! If CarGo gets hurt, this trade may lose me the league...its a risk I think i want to take though.

I think you should stand pat, unless you feel that you can work the waiver wire if something were to go bad down the road.

I would hit accept right now. Assuming it isn't a keeper league, and the long term to consider, I really like the CarGo/Hosmer end of the deal. Maybe you could package Crawford in the deal for the starter to someone who can afford to stash him.

Anybody telling you not to do this is crazy. You are getting a 1st round talent, and Hosmer who is also an upgrade.

Do it. Do it now. Even though outside of Zimm your pitching pretty much sucks (Dempster was a nice find).

i like the deal for you. cargo is obviously awesome and hosmer a great buy low candidate. harper is riding high especially after tn but i dont see him really being a fantasy force this year. losing zimmerman is tough and you are obviously in a bind pitching in terms of starters and saves but i think that there are a lot of underrated guys out there on the waiver wire and i think that you have so much offense that you can definitely pull a trade or two off to get quality starts and saves. id definitely do it.
