i like this deal a lot. i had beltran last year and kept him for a few bucks. im much higher on verlander than i am sabbathia and i think the difference btwn tex and beltran is far less than most would think. if beltran can stay healthy, and matheeny seems to be doing all he can to keep him that way, than this deals a huge win for you.

I agree with everyone...any trade that gets you Verlander (probably the best pitcher period) is a plus, and Beltran seems to be reverting back to Mid-2000's Beltran this year.

Plus you have quality bats on your bench to fill the UTIL slot. I'd do it.
