Mariano Rivera isn't ready for this to be "Exit Sandman."

"I'm coming back," Rivera said. "Write it down, in big letters. I'm not going out like this."

Rivera said that he plans to make a full recovery and pitch for the Yankees again in 2013, when he will be 43 years old.

As I said earlier...if he wants to come back, he'll be back. Not sure why some were saying this was career-ending, it doesn't have to be.

I just hate to see players hurt during practice. I know he was always in the outfield during BP and it could happen anytime, but still.

I just had an ACL reconstruction on my left knee about three months ago and it stinks. It takes forever to come back from and I'm not even close to remotely trusting the knee yet.

I hope he comes back because this is no way to end a career that has been as great as his (this coming from a Boston fan).
