Unfair Trades? As LM should I veto?

Hi,

Recently, my old fantasy league merged with a group of four others guys who wanted in.
It's an 8 team Mixed Head to Head Most Categories league with ESPN.

Originally, one of the new guys was co LM to get his friends invited into the league.

During week one, he "convinced" his friend to give him Dustin Pedroia for Omar Infante (whom he picked up on Waivers that day).
Then as LM he bypassed the voting process and made the trade go through. Because of this, I took away his LM powers.

Today, I find out he convinced another one of his friends to give him David Ortiz for Pedro Alvarez (whom he picked up on waivers today as well).

Should I veto this new trade? Should I suspect shadiness with these guys? Or should I just let it slide?

Unfortunately, they all voted for the trade. So it's a done deal. Not too happy about this.

The situation is very odd, I mean convincing is part of the art of trading but seems like there's implied collusion.

You said the votes passed but trade one Pedroia - no way thats an instant Veto.

The Ortiz- alvarz one is insanely stupid but I could see folks doing it in an extreme case. People used to love Alvarez and think highly (even in non keeper) he has 3B, Ortiz is a DH. Plenty of folks have pulled 180s on Ortiz value in recent times (he was a FA in many leagues when he had that big cold spell and draft stock was very low coming into 11 league to elague he wasnt going that high this year but hes quality). Gigantically stupid trade right now but I would NOT veto it. Considering the cloud hanging over both though you now have a big league issue on your hands it sounds like :(

The only real problem with the Pedrioa/Infante trade had to do with the fact that the instigator of the trade used his LM powers at the time to bypass the veto/voting process. I would have hoped to have seen a vote on it.

Looking at the guy who got Infante, it's been a couple weeks since the trade and he hasn't started him yet. In fact, his 2B slot has been a big gaping hole since that trade.

This, coupled with the new trade Alvarez-Ortiz trade just makes it seem sketchy. Especially when both trades are top 100 guys for players he picks up on waivers that day.

Lock out the ex-LM, lock out the dead team, and look for 2 new owners and get on with your season.
