walden was all being walden and stuff and then bautista struck out on a slider that bounced about 2 feet in front of home plate. that did not look good.

He's being weighed down by his wallet.

My contention is that he's actually 36, not 32. Maybe even 37. Would explain the downturn in production over the past 2 years. It's fuzzy dominican math right??? 32=36........

24 up, 24 down so far for Brandon Morrow. 85 pitches. 22 consecutive scoreless innings.

off the juice?

Why would he have used steroids for his entire career until 2012 when he randomly decides to stop?

I think the slump explanation is a little more likely.

That would be quite humorous if he actually was older, if I remember correctly, during his HS years most people were convinced he was a man out there :-b

Perfect fastball command, high GBs, 0 BBs? Yeah, that wasn't old Morrow. But that wasn't the new Morrow we saw earlier in the year either (he didn't throw his mediocre curve or changeup at all tonight...was strictly a FB/slider pitcher like last start).

So yeah, I don't know exactly what that was (hybrid Morrow?), but I liked it.

Bautista stopped using too now? You'd think the 100 HR he's hit since 2010 would give him some incentive to keep juicing, I guess not. :-b
