Looks like Rivera blew an ACL or something while shagging balls before the game. I'm so sad by the possibility that he may have ended his career like this. :,-(
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Wow, what a weird year so far. Closers going down like flies, and then leg injuries to so many key players over the last week or so.

I don't like the Yankees, but I hope Rivera is okay and can finish his career strong.

I don't like the decision to throw Bryce Harper in the 3 hole already.

Duffy is throwing 98-99 at Yankee stadium...turns out that KC gun wasn't juiced after all?

What do you guys think of Wieters as a buy high? He finally seems to be living up to the hype that surrounded him when he was called up a few years ago. Catchers seem to take a bit longer to adjust to the bigs in general. He's absolutely raking right now, and could finlly be that rare catcher that can singlhandedly carry your team on any given week. Is it worth it to give up more than perceived market value to acquire him before this still smallish sample size trend becomes the norm?

It's thunder storming here in Chicago. I doubt any stats for this game will count.
