Panda goes down, possibly for extended period

Postby wazzeus » Thu May 03, 2012 3:28 am

Sounds like Pablo Sandoval is headed to the DL again. It's yet to be reported on most of the fantasy sites, but it sounds like another hamate bone issue -- this time in his left hand. (He was out for more than six weeks last year with a broken hamate in his right hand.)

With third basemen dropping like flies, I thought I'd send this out as a heads-up so Panda owners can start vetting the Wiggintons, Alvarezes and Chris Davises of the world. Good luck.

All I want is some positive momentum to make me think that my team is going to do well this year, but with Sandoval's possibly lengthy injury that makes him a part of Longoria, Cliff Lee, D.Hudson, Gardner, BJ Upton, Crisp, and Soria. I'm tired of injuries already and we're only in May.

Thanks for the info anyway. At least I'm building up a begrudging tolerance to it all.
