Lawrie/Detwiler for Marcum/Shark **Help Appreciated**

Ill try to offer anyone else advice...

12 man H2H Points- Somehow I feel my team is slightly better than when it was 10 man H2H last year. Anyway----

I was offered a trade:

I get GET 3B Lawrie and SP Detwiler and GIVE UP SP Marcum and RP/SP Samardzija:

I could use 3B, but my RP's are questionable and I liked Samardzija as a fall back option with the dual eligibility until I get this closer situation figured out. I fear trading Marcum could limit my Matchup options.

You're right, matchup options would be more limited. However, I think Lawrie will be worth your while as an upgrade over Murphy. He's a better piece than a pitcher who ranks as your #4 or #5 option. At least you've got depth, so I think this would be a good trade for you. I wouldn't get to caught up over Samardzija ... just keep an eye out for impending SP/RP types if you think you'll really miss him.
