Howie Kendrick, Dee Gordon, and Javy Guerra were all dropped. I have no backup for Castro, no backup for Cano, and my closers suck, so all three options look good. Are any of them worth the #2 waiver? If so, which one? And who goes?

I'd probably go with Guerra. I know it hasn't been all smooth sailing with him recently, but I doubt he's gonna lose his role. If he stays as the Dodgers' closer he's gonna get a boat load of chances. Gordon is cool, but he's more flash than substance. Kendrick is solid, but personally I'd take Guerra first.
Bump!! The three guys clear waivers tomorrow, so I have to figure out what I'm doing tonight. In an earlier thread where I posted ALL the listed FAs, a bunch of people said burn the claim on Gordon. Then a bunch of people said Kendrick. Then a bunch of people said don't burn the waiver claim on any of them and just grab whoever hits the FA. Hence, I'm no closer to a decision.
Anyone have a definitive opinion one way or the other?
Considering your relief pitching situation, this would be a no-brainer for me. Guerra is no Gagne, but this year he's gonna get a lot of chances with future champ Dodgers.
