Any chance we see Josh Vitters get called up for the Cubbies any time soon? .301/.352/.514 in AAA this year with a career high .213 ISO. BB Rate is up, but so is the K Rate. One thing that looks nice is the amount of XBH he's hit compared to previous seasons. He hit 28 doubles in 449 AB last season, and has 22 through 296 this season, as well as 13 HR compared to 13 last season. This is a team starting Luis Valbuena at 3B. Feel like I've been waiting for this guy to get the call forever.
Any chance the Orioles bring Machado up by the end of the season? Sounds like they're taking their time with him. I picked him up just to stash him but we only get 4 keepers.

Nope. Maybe he's sees AAA at some point, but I think that he'll remain in AA all season.

No way, he hasn't had a good season in Double A, shouldn't be considered for a cup of coffee.
I think on Marte it depends on other players the Pirates have been interested in trading for. they've been mentioned for Justin Upton and Carlos Quentin. I would think Marte could be a piece in an Upton trade, but not likely in a free agent to be Quentin trade. if the Pirates were to trade prospects for Quentin you probably wouldn't see Marte until September. the Pirates could go with Presley/McCutchen/Quentin.

Jedd Gyorko, absolutely tearing up AAA, if Headley is traded this will clear his path
Brett Jackson, if Soriano or Dejesus or even Lahair is moved, should be next in line
Josh Vitters, mentioned earlier is knocking on the door
Cubs' prospects Brett Jackson and Josh Vitters are expected to be promoted to the majors this season. "But it's not a given," general manager Jed Hoyer said. "Those guys need to force the issue. When they sort of really prove to us that they're ready and make it clear, then I think that's something we'll see. We really want to make that a precedent, of when a prospect really bangs on the door, they get up here."
