;-D Middlebrooks has been hot to start the year. He is also a superior defensive third baseman, so the pitchers shouldn't be complaining.

Are Middlebrooks and Cardenas significant enough to roster immediately in standard 12 team leagues or more of watch candidates?

I don't know what Middlebrooks' long term outlook is, but he hit a ton of homers this year before coming up and has already netted me 2 HR 7 RBI and a SB, so I'm going to ride that while he's hot.

I wouldn't grab Cardenas immediately because he is more of a 2 hole hitter and won't be receiving constant starts. Especially in his line up he won't be getting many runs or rbis, he also hits more for average. Middlebrooks I would grab and ride him while he's hot, maybe sell him high to someone before Youk gets back

Brad Peacock could see his debut soon depending on how well Tyson Ross does in his next outing or two

Middlebrooks has 2 HR just tonight already.
it's a shame he's going to lose playing time once Youkilis is healhty. Middlebrooks can hit!
what if Middlebrooks is still hitting like this, what can the Red Sox do? can't move Youkilis to 1B, Gonzalez is there. can't DH Youkilis, Ortiz is there. could Youkilis really be any type of option in the OF?

yeah, that post was after his first homer before he gave me that 2nd gift later on.

really hope he stays hot and they keep letting him play. It's about time I have someone on my offense actually hitting.

Any updates on the Rockies' intentions with Arenado? I would like to jump on him early but with all the closer action going on right now, I need those roster spots for potential closers until those shake out so I can't move unless something more definite appears on the horizon.
