What does this team need? Pitching or OF depth? (WHIR)

Postby coyotesjr97 » Mon Apr 30, 2012 4:05 pm

10 team H2H, 6x6 format. Stats-AVG, HR, OBP, RBI, R, SB, K's, ERA, WHIP, Holds, SV, W.

I'm considering trying to package perhaps Zimmerman and either Aviles, Kendrick, or Schafer for either a frontline starter or a solid OF. Any thoughts on what I should look for? Anybody think I should attempt to sell high on Schafer or Aviles or are they legit?

C-Napoli
1st-Votto
2nd-Aviles
3rd-Hanley Ramirez
SS-Jeter
OF-Gordon
OF-Schafer
OF-Stanton
Util-D. Ortiz
Util-Hosmer
Bench-Kendrick
Bench-Zimmerman
Bench-Trout

Disabled List-(2 slots)
Allen Craig
Brett Gardner

Pitchers-
Wainwright
Price
Hanson
Beachy
Luebke
Jaime Garcia
Wandy Rodriguez

Bullpen-
Motte
Balfour
Henry Rodriguez
Scott Downs
Joaquin Benoit

Definitely OF depth over pitching. your pitching is pretty solid. I'd try to get another proven outfielder. and if you could package schafer in a deal for someone like BJ Upton or even werth or choo, i would do that.

Sweet team man. I would see if you can find one more Beachy/Luebke tier arm at a modest price simply for depth. Great all around. That move would be a luxury rather than a necessity.

nice team...i think you need a little more OF depth and maybe a lower teir pitcher to bolster the end of your staff.

If you guys had to part with anybody from this team, who would you choose to give up? Kendrick, Aviles, Zimmerman, Schafer, Gardner, and in what order would you try to trade them?

Let me put it his way. I dropped Trout for Worley to shore up the pitching a bit. My next question is the OF. I either need to make a two-for-one trade because once Craig/Gardner/Zimmerman are back I have too many on my roster. Or I can drop people and possibly make some changes here. The waiver wire currently has:

Cespedes
Shin Shoo-Choo (I'm hesitant on him though because he burned me last year...)
LaHair
Torii Hunter
