Try to trade montero and/or davis, for a solid closer. a top tier type guy... your best closer is johnson. marmol is very iffy (blown saves are -7 points!), but secure. rodriguez is gone when storen come backs and downs is temporary (or not, it's debatable). Thornton is on the list, but he's not a sure thing either...

in a 12 teamer someone has a crappy catcher and would love to have montero.. he's not been stellar and I hate selling low, but if you're looking to make a move this is what I would do. or at least start with.

Either way, if you end up doing this pick up LaHair (or chris davis if you like him) to replace davis as util/backup 1b.

I personally hold steady and see what happens.. both davis and montero could light up and be very valuable trade material.

I would pick up:

LaHair
Infante
Thornton/Clippard

and drop

Trout
Harper
Parker

since it's a redraft, the second set of three hold little to no value. I don't think either sticks to the majors, although Trout certainly has a better shot. Neither will hit anywhere above .250, whereas both LaHair and Infante are .280 hitters or better. I think LaHair offers admirable power numbers, while Infante will get on base a lot. And since holds are scored, I'd rather have a top-notch hold guy over a middling starter whose only real value is in the future.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

wow, good point.. I completely missed that it was a redraft league. I agree with mpieco that harper/parker will offer some, but not a lot of value this year.

Floyd will return more value than Parker this season. I also like LaHair.
