butler/harper/bourn/downs for hosmer/holliday/melky (WHIR)

I give up butler/harper/bourn/downs and in return get hosmer/holliday/melky

Butler for Hosmer is a pretty even, except we count putouts and butler is the dh so I get nothing in that catagory. Hosmer on the other hand will get his share..

Holliday pushes presley to the bench and melky takes over center for bourn.

Harper and Downs are freebies I just picked up off the wire and I could turn them into solid stats. The other guy is a walden owner, so he would be assuring (probably) himself the angels closer. Also, I pickup David Hernandez to replace downs as a RP. High k/9 and k, low whip and era. Just what I need. I think I win in this deal..

16 team, 2 keepers (1 batter, 1 pitcher) - 9x9 h2h

oddball stats
putouts for hitters
k/9 and pickoffs for pitchers.

c - m. wieters
1b - b. butler, m. gamel, g. sanchez
2b - n. walker
3b - a. beltre,
ss - t. tulowitzki, a. escobar
lf - a. presley
cf - m. bourn, m. trout (lf/cf/rf)
rf - m. trumbo (1b/3b/rf), j. francoeur, b. harper
dl - v. martinez (c/1b)

sp - s. strasburg, c. sabathia, a. burnett
rp - j. axford, c. marmol, s. marshall, j. venters, h. santiago, s. downs
dl - a. bailey

Leave a link and i'll return the favor!

I like the deal for you because of Holliday.

It's a big move to get rid of Harper in a keeper league, but Hosmer is also a good keeper and should help you more this year.

Yeah.. but I can only keep one batter, so I would assume that Tulowitzki would be my keeper. Was last year.. planning on using him again if everything goes as planned this season.

But you're right.. if Tulo fell on his face, I'd have Hosmer as a next in line. Or Trout/Holliday?

Or is it worth it to hold onto Harper hoping that I can keep him for two years or better and maybe have the #1 player in the game? that's a lot of what-if's between now and then tho

i like the deal.

you already have trout so why have both top prospects.

Hosmer i think is better then harper and holliday is a great addition to the team and so is melky. Downs i dont see holding the job all year. your going to miss bourns steals but holliday hitting HR will make up for that.
