Same question here, I don't like benching my pitchers to start the week...but @NYY is always a questionable call.

I'm benching him tonight, but if he pitches well I will start him in his next start against Boston.

I agree with Kaiser. I will not be starting Hammel tonight @ NYY. Too much risk, and his history against NYY is not great. However, if he pitches well tonight, I will start him against Boston next.

So he took the loss (not sure if that counts in your league), but overall a great QS start. Encouraging.

Yes, that was definitely a good enough start that I will consider putting him up against Boston or Texas. Not certain yet.
