Drop F.Cordero for Alfredo Aceves? WHIR

Postby sigriffey » Mon Apr 30, 2012 3:07 am

Is Alfredo Aceves a better option for saves than Francisco Cordero? If so should I drop Cordero for Aceves?

Yeah Cordero has not been doing that well. I would try out Aceves, and honestly if it doesn't work out its any easy fix, and it wouldn't kill you. But I think he is better than Cordero and its the right move...

Help....

Aceves has seemed to find his way now, and Bailey is finished, so with Santos likely to get his job back in a reasonable amount of time, Aceves is the better option now and in the future.

I would rather have Aceves but I doubt I would start him until he can put together more than a couple of good innings. I thought he had settled down earlier after giving up 3 runs only to have him give up 5 runs a few innings later. I think he could be a solid player to own but he needs to prove it a little more.
