H2H 5x5 12 team league

So I've been looking to move one of my pitchers to improve my batting. this got offered to me:

My Dan Haren, Jake Peavy, Elvis Andrus, and Luke Scott.

I'd get his Carlos Beltran, J.D. Martinez, Carloss Lee, and Mark Buehrle.

He said I could get Kuroda instead of Buehrle.

I could use the help in OF and start Carlos Lee at 1B.

Should I do this trade and if so Kuroda or Buehrle??

I think you'd be giving up waaaay too much...

And then you'd be putting Martinez or Cruz on the bench when Young gets back, so you'd basically be drastically downgrading at pitcher to put Beltran in your lineup and Lee at first. Honestly, it's not worth it, you're downgrading at P more than upgrading at offense IMHO.

Keep in mind the Cardinals are playing absolutely out of their mind so far this season, and also the Astros. Both teams are due to regress sharply. I bet that's a motive of the other owner, ride them while they've been hot, and dump 'em when they come back down to earth. Honestly I think your outfield will be fine when Young gets back, not bad, really, and Dunn is playing well on a good offense. There's no way you can do this trade unless he swaps Martinez of Lee for somebody significantly more valuable, and even then they'd have to be pretty good to get rid of Haren and Peavy.

Yea this trade isn't even close, although I don't know why you think the Cardinals will regress.......They led the NL in offense last season with Pujols having a mediocre season, so for them to be up there again is totally reasonable.

Thanks for the input. Anybody think it would be worth it if i got Anibal Sanchez instead of Buehrle, or would i still be losing out on too much pitching?
