~Starting Pitcher Help~ Need Some Good Insight...{Wh!r}

Postby etl1692 » Sun Apr 29, 2012 11:54 pm

Just acquired Justin Upton for my Tim Lincecum, which I am very excited about! Now its time to shop for a pitcher that obviously wont fill Timmys shoes, but definitely make up for some of the loss. I am looking to try and bait Trout, or Harper. And willing to trade Gardner as well..... These are some of the pitchers I have my eye on.

Tommy Hanson
Brandon Beachy
Jaime Garcia
C.J. Wilson
Anibal Sanchez
Josh Johnson
Adam Wainwright
Jeremy Hellickson
Jordan Zimmerman
Matt GArza

Now I have no idea the real value of Harper or Trout, and I guess right now no one does thus far, just a lot of hype. Remember I am proposing the trade, so those guys are just ideas. Some may be too good for what I have to offer, so dont just give me the best guy up there and say him. I need compatable trade ideas. If I have missed anyone please point it out.... Willing to trade Gardner, Harper, Trout LEAVE A LINK I WILL HELP

Also not sure if it will help, but I could throw in Scherzer as well. He has been sucking!

I think you're shooting a tier too high on those pitchers. I wouldn't give up any of those arms for the hype of those prospects. Go for a couple lesser arms than that, but maybe send a few deals out for those pitchers and see if any of those owners are willing to pay for the hype, hopefully you'll get lucky.

I would send out offers for Wainwright and JJ just because theyve struggled so much so far. See where the owners are at on them and then maybe add a little more or try for a lesser pitcher.
I would think Garcia, Hellickson, Zimm, and Sanchez are realistic targets for any owner that needs OF help, especially in a keeper league.
Hanson, Garza, Beachy, CJ are not going to happen.

There is no one this is answerable without knowing if its a keeper or not.

Keeper I think you can shoot for the better arms you listed like CJ/Beachy. In a non-keeper, I would be happy with JJ. Waino shouldn't be pitching right now, so I would only really give up Gardner for him.
Goldy is King.
