It seems that everywhere, Bonds has been a late second or third round pick, I expected him to go sooner, why is that??

He went third in my NL pool and first overall

in my mixed league pool. The NL-pool guys are pretty much experts, and the mixed pool is really casual.
I can see him going VERY early second round, but any league where he goes later than that is populated by a bunch of clowns.

Its likely the indictments on Balco and the assumption that Bonds is on roids. Many people expect Bonds wont hit 50 homers unjuiced.

He went 4th in my mixed-league draft. And about the roids, thats all anyone can talk about! I went to 3 giants spring training games and everyone around me was debating it. The season can't come soon enough for me.
