Stanton for Freese simple trade question

Postby pvhawkeye » Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:31 pm

I give him Stanton
He gives me Freese

The thing that makes this worth considering is the fact I have no backup infielders and a surplus of OF.
We score, R H HR RBI SB OPS

My team
C Santana
1B Konerko
2B Pedroia
3B M Cabrera
SS Castro
OF CarGo
OF Stanton
OF A Gordon
Util Ortiz
Util Hart (OF)
Bn Crisp (OF)
Bn Maybin (OF)
Bn Harper (OF)

Also, any ideas about 2 of my OF's for Freese welcome, but it seems i need to keep my speed as I'm about as low on SB as I can afford, considering starters.

He also said he'd consider Freese for Hart.
Thoughts?? WHIR!!!

Stanton is too much, I think. I'd rather deal Hart for Freese.

Help with mine?

No way do you even consider this. You could get much much more for Stanton, especially now that he finally got his first home run. I would try to find someone else other than Freese. Wright, Lawrie, Beltre, Arod, Zimmerman (big discount there) could all be had for Stanton or less. Try Hart for him instead, but I would really try to target some other Third baseman.

I love Freese this year, but this is simply too much. Get more value from Stanton.

Stanton is a crazy offer. If you really love Freese, try Hart for Freese and see if he bites. It's a very reasonable offer.....
