I'd like to try and cash in on Peavy's hot start and Lincecum's slow one. With Harper and Trout getting called up, and Young waiting on the DL, I think can afford to move Cruz despite the fact that he's probably the best OF I have. So would you give Jake Peavy and Nelson Cruz to get Tim Lincecum? Team and league info below:

Forgot to mention that this offer was proposed to me, so I merely have to hit 'Accept' and I'll have Lincecum. Question is if I can afford losing Cruz, and if it's worth it to give up Peavy (who has been my best pitcher) for Lincecum, who has been horrible to start the year.

It's really hard to say with Harper and Trout how well they will do. They could very much put up Cruz like numbers but its hard to say. Lincecum has gotten off slow, but his last 2 appearences were decent. I think I would do it, and take the risk on HArper! why not. Its a risk but could work out ohhhh so sweet!

Help..

Here's the thing: Peavy is an injury waiting to happen. Lincecum is too good but peripheral stats have slightly declined.

Ya know, Cruz is a solid 30/25 OF and those ain't easy to get.

If you had one more studly OF I would do this.

See remember Harper is only a temp call up while Zimm is on DL and their other OF options in LF have stunk it up.

Not sold on Trout/Harper to fill the Cruz void and the drop in velocity from Lincecum is a mild concern. I'm staying put.
