Well, it's good you asked us because regardless of Trumbo's start, he isn't enough for Betancourt. Reason 1: Trumbo can be very streaky. Looks good now, but will swing and miss for a month. He'd be a good piece for your offense, though, but just not a dependable one. Reason 2: In an 18 team league, closers are rare. Betancourt is worth more than Trumbo and you should be able to get one or two more pieces for him (especially since he's not deemed as particularly shaky, like Capps or Marmol). Reason 3: I can't see keeping Trumbo by year's end, while Betancourt could at least get in due to position scarcity if you really wanted to. It's the third reason, but not necessarily a strong one.
Get more for Betancourt if you're set on trading him. See if you could get a more steady upgrade at OF or some kind of pitcher back.
