I think you're panicking too quickly on Gallardo. He'll be far more valuable over the course of the season than any of the arms you listed.
I'm not yet convinced Peavy is back; he alternated brilliance with blowups last year, so I just don't trust him yet. I think Lynn is the real deal, and will stick even after Chris Carpenter returns. Lohse has looked great, but his stuff isn't special, and he's guaranteed to regress.
If you can get Peavy and Lynn, do it. Neither should be unowned.
Get Peavy RIGHT NOW. It's not even close. He is pitching like he did 3 or 4 years ago, and he stopped the Red Sox offense. What other proof do you need that he is back?

Three or four more starts without major hiccups.
You have to take a chance on him based on his performance so far. He shouldn't be available in ANY leagues right now.
