If you need speed more than power, yeah. If not, no. Another thing to keep in mind is that Ross will play every day at least until Ellsbury returns, whereas Gardner often sits against lefties.

That is a really tough call. I'm not so sure Ross will head to the bench when Ellsbury comes back. I think he heads to the bench when Crawford comes back which is 3 months from now, and even then he probably platoons with Sweeney. Fenway seems to suit Ross well, I think I would keep him.
