I guess it depends on your waiver claim, I probably wouldnt spend a #1 or #2 waiver claim on him. He is pitching great right now though, so he could end up being worth it. I think he will be decent this year, but not this good.

Helps to know your roster, but I would say yes. He is looking very polished with a nice k/9 and a great offensive team. I would pick Smyley up over 75% of 4/5 startes. If you're replacing a #3 guy I probably would not do it. Smyley a rookie who will have rough starts.
