DROP DUNN OR LAHAIR...WHIR

Postby Shermanator » Sat Apr 28, 2012 9:43 am

Redraft 7x7 yahoo H2H league. If you were to have just one of Adam Dunn or Bryan Lahair, who would you want to keep for the rest of this season only? Im in a position where I need to drop one of them for a starting pitcher

Leave a link, I will answer yours.
TIA

I think Brian LaHair is much better than people are giving him credit for, and is doing exactly what he will continue doing all year. Hitting .300 and showing enough power that he is worth holding onto.

Dunn, however, will have very hot weeks and then very cold weeks upon weeks upon weeks. We know what Dunn offers at this point...and it's not exciting.

LaHair on the other hand, has an excitement factor. Who cares if he plays for the Cubs. He has Castro hitting in front of him at least.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

Flip a coin really. I would probably hang on to LaHair only because Dunn has been this bad for the start of his second season. I could easily see both of them hitting the WW by July so I am not sure it really matters which one you keep.
