H2H league w/standard categories
I get: Teixeria, Bautista and mike minor (ATL)
I give up: Longoria, Giancarlo Stanton and madison bumgarner
my team:
Adrian gonzalez
howard kendrick
longoria
elvis anrus
ichiro
mike bourn
stanton
la roche
carlos beltran
willingham
weaver
lester
billingsley
scherzer
niese
g floyd
dumgarner
dempster
fister
I would pretty much sacrifice bat avg for the year but win power. my pitching is sketchy which is why i dont wanna give up madison for an unproven mike minor.
im leaning towards no. especially if stanton ever wakes up.

Nope. And I'm not sure you'd be getting more power, as you suggest. If Tex and Bautista combine for more HRs than Longo and Stanton, it won't be by much. But the real deal-breaker here is MadBum for Minor; the Giants lefty is the far superior arm.

Do not make the trade. Bumgarner has ace-type stuff.
Help with mine?

True pickle. Hard to pass up on tex and bautista especially when you can turn around and trade them for a way better pitcher then minor or bum. I'd accept and fill roster then weed out your lineup for a true ace

I don't really see how you'd be upgrading anyway if I may be honest. I think Longoria/Stanton is equal to Teixeira/Bautista in just about every category, and perhaps better in others (like SBs...although let's face it, you're not rostering any of these guys for SBs).
So, the deal comes down to Bumgarner and Minor, which is laughable. I'd rather have half of Bumgarner's year than Minor's entire year.
Do not do this deal.
