Thoughts on this trade? Did I do alright?

I traded away Tommy Hanson & Matt Joyce and got Michael Bourn & Henderson Alvarez? I think it helped me out big time... What are you thoughts on this? Did I do the right thing? My outfield is now Matt Kemp, Michael Bourn, Cameron Maybin, Peter Bourjos, & Alex Rios???

Not understanding your rationale. You have Bourjous and Maybin and go trade for Bourne? So you get a good player in Bourne at the cost of a decent SP and still have Bourjous and Maybin on your team? To what end? How many speed guys without power do you need?

And throwing in Joyce for Alvarez was a mistake imo. You should have given the guy Bourjous for Alvarez if you do the deal.

Hanson for Bourn is pretty fair, IMO. As mentioned though, it looks as if you already have a bunch of speed guys and now your pitching staff is suspect (IMO). I would not have traded Joyce for Alvarez though. Big overpay. Alvarez has some decent ratios, but his lack of K's will catch up with him, especially in the AL East. I'm not a fan of this. Sorry.

Hanson over Alvarez and Bourn over Joyce, so I think it's OK, but I'd probably have held tight.
