aybar for joyce? (WHIR)

I've got a log jam at ss position.. aybar, ramirez, and bonifacio. Seems to also be my weakest position. I've tried trading for a top tier SS but can't get anyone to bite. It's a 10 teamer so trading is somewhat difficult. Thinking of dropping aybar and picking up a FA to plug in on off days. Martinez is my first pick.. followed by Joyce. Thoughts?

Either one better than the other? Keep Aybar in case the angels finally begin to hit?

Edit: Peralta and Cozart are also on the wire.. so I doubt would aybar get scooped up instantly. Tho you never know.

10 team redraft, points league. Pitchers are undervalued so I only have the minimum. Gives me a couple extra bench players to shuffle around..

Aybar is on the WW in my 12 team...so clearly the masses are down on him. And so far Joyce has much better production, so it is not an unreasonable move to make...especially with your depth.

Aybar is struggling (as is the rest of the Angels) and he's also not running. I used to like taking Aybar in the middle/late rounds, but I jumped off the bandwagon now. I say dump him. Martinez would be a good pick, LaHair would too. Joyce, not so sure.

In a ten teamer you can afford to drop a guy like Aybar is he isn't producing by May. JD Martinez should be a decent bat in a points league. Joyce should be valuable but frustrating because of his splits and streaky ways. I'd go with Martinez.

Drop Aybar. He's been sitting as a FA since the 11th in my league. We bailed early on him.

Trumbo could be worth it if he gets playing time. If he doesn't then he's just as useful as Aybar.

Take Martinez if you need the help in the outfield. Craig might be an interesting grab if he turns out well. He's currently stashed by one of the other teams in my league. If you have DL slot open, he might be a good grab to see how he goes.Martinez is the safer bet I think, but if you can DL stash Craig, could be very worth it if Martinez gets cold in a hurry.

I'd drop Aybar as I have a feeling that his value will remain low since Trout is coming up sooner than expected and will probably be in the leadoff spot with Kendrick batting second.

I like Trumbo's fantasy value for now because as long as he's raking while everyone else struggles he'll be in the lineup every day at multiple positions despite his obvious defensive liabilities.

I definitely agree with dropping aybar. Since you have an abundance of ss, you aren't looking for a starter in fa, so I'd say trumbo offers the most long-term value. He's hitting well, and you can plug him in whenever he is playing well. Plus, if he starts getting guaranteed playing time, he will have awesome trade value. Just my opinion.
