I've been offer Ryan Howard Zack Cozart for my Ellsbury. Seems like I should accept considering Ellsbury health is very much up in the air due to the unknowns he'll be facing once he starts rehabbing. I'm play in a 7x7 Roto league with TB's and OPS for extra categories.
Thanks in advance any input you can give.

I should also mention this is a 14 team league.

I'm very surprised that it's not considered close by a couple of you, particularily with the league settings. But this is the reason I ask for second opinions. Thanks!!

Achilles are terrible injuries to and I cannot think of a single athlete in any sport who has ever come back 100% after blowing theirs out.
Jeter had a severe dislocation of his shuolder several years ago...happened sliding into 3rd ( I forget who the player was) but it was against the Blue Jays i believe...and guy dropped his knee into Jeter's shoulder in his attempt to block the bag....and Jete missed like 2 months...but came back strong.
IF Howard comes back this year...I am willing to bet he has no power and all his numbers will be down as no one will fear him.
IMO...no one would see the value in this trade if they truly understood the difference between the two injuries. Hell, I will bet that Ellsbury will be back sooner and back to 100% before Howard is even back hitting off live pitching.

No way I do this if I have Ellsbury. Cozart is an avg SS with no proven track record and Howard is more unknown than Ellsbury at this point, to me anyway.
Keep your star player who's on the DL and wait for him to come back and help carry your team.
take a look?

No way. Ells is no more a risk than Howard -- perhaps even less of one -- and far superior when healthy. Cozart is an average-at-best SS; chances are your current SS would relegate him to the bench.
