Tigers call up Brad Eldred.

Veteran outfielder Brad Eldred has made quite an impression with Detroit's Triple-A club, so much so that the was recalled on Thursday. Eldred blasted three home runs during Tuesday's game and another on Wednesday to give him 13 total homers in Toledo's first 20 games. He has also hit safely in all 20 games.

I wonder if Chris Shelton rejoined the Tigers AAA team as the hitting coach.

Meh, he couldn't make the Giants team last year, and will be 32 in less than three months. Will keep an eye on him.
