Obviously someone had a problem with Jesus being discussed constantly.

Just moved Salty to the bench for now. It's now a duel between Salty and Iannetta to see who survives the cut until Monday.

On a side note, what are the odds we can get the Montero/Pineda deal rescinded?!? The Mariners knew something was up..it's a conspiracy.

In all seriousness, huge blow for my Yanks trading away a kid like this for a player that ends up being out for the year. Those labrum's can be serious, sometimes lingering injuries if my former teammates that have had the surgery are any indication.

I have Montero in two ESPN leagues. The 10 game requirement made him pretty cheap so I'll be happy to use him in my Util spot for 6 weeks or so while he gains eligibility. They're deep leagues and I never pay for catchers but even strictly as a DH he was undervalued.
