Is Ross Detwiler worth the grab? I don't think I have anyone to drop though....... Maybe Delmon Young? He has been sucking it up!

I don't think he is anything more than a spot starter. If that is what you want then I am fine dropping Young but Ross isn't a season long play.

He's probably nothing more than a spot starter ... however he does have the potential and pedigree to be a mainstay. The smart move is to stick with Delmon. He is much more of a sure thing, and his best should be ahead of him after he starts rolling. However, replacing Delmon with Ross has much higher ceiling in my opinion, but is a gamble. It depends on how you are doing in your league, and if you think you need to take a gamble on pitching at the expensive of a middle-tier OF.

I actually dropped Delmon for Ross myself. My pitching needs another arm, and my hitting has been more then solid. I'm willing to spend delmon to see what Ross can do.

But if he's still a FA in your league, you might be able to check out his next start before making a decision.
