Daily SP Streamers

Several seasons ago, there was a "daily streamers" thread in this forum that I found extremely helpful. It died out somewhere along the way, but it sure would be nice to get one going again.

Anyway, taking a look at streamers for today, 4/25, I think I am going to run with Jason Hammel (BAL) vs. Toronto. I know that the Toronto offense is solid, but Hammel has put together a couple of nice starts, and I see him as a decent option today. He got a no decision against the Jays on 4/14, pitching 5 innings, 6 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K. His last start, against the ChiSox, yielded a win and 10K.

Anyone else have some suggestions or ideas?

Really like Chacin, too. Guess I should have thrown him out there as well, as he is owned in only 25% of ESPN leagues.

Hammel just scares me cause they have seen his stuff so recently and might be better prepared this time around. Just like people got burned by Bartolo Colon on his second time facing Seattle. I had in my signature E. Jacks for tomorrow but somebody just swooped him before games locked so I couldn't drop today's stream to get him. My next choice would be Edison Volquez against Washington whose bats have seemed to cool down a bit but i think i will sit tight till friday. That way I can pick up a guy today for friday to guarantee that I get him. I am debating between 3 guys, Arrieta facing Oakland, Duffy against Minnesota, or Zambrano vs. AZ. will decide and let you know how i go. This has been an amazing season of streaming for me this season so far.... hope it continues...

This is a good point, and something I was thinking as well. But I'm going to take the chance.

I have actually been following mixmastamikal's signature for the last few days. Hasn't steered me wrong yet, but I do know it'll happen eventually. But, that's the gamble of streaming.

Sadly enough, I wasn't. I do have Chacin going today though.

What's everyone's opinion on Arroyo today vs the Giants?

I like Bronson today he is owned in my main league so i didn't even look at him though. He should have a pretty good K/BB rate against them today but they have batted pretty well against him in the past. Over 126 AB's they have a combined .302 BA and .841 OPS but he he ahs looked pretty good recently so i would think he has a pretty good day.
