I say yeah, as your pitching is on life support. I think Davis slotting in for Hosmer (wherever he bats) should be fine, and Posey can be replaced by Lucroy, Doumit, or Hernandez. It'll be a downgrade of course (though Lucroy is interesting) but who cares, it's Felix Hernandez. Go for it.

I like it simply because your pitching is so weak. Get AJ and then ride out a hot bat at catcher the rest on the year.

I wouldn't do it. One elite pitcher can't save your whole staff but losing 2 hitters can ruin your offense. How many teams in this league? I don't like Saunders. Can you list the top pitchers by ownage percentage who are available on the waiver wire?
