Yes, it had to be done after Upton broke through last night! It also had to be done because today is the first day I actually own Stanton. I plucked him off a league mate on the nickel (I also landed Justin Upton in the same deal)
All this means of course is I've assured him a trip to the DL

My OF of Stanton/Upton/CarGo had 0 homers coming into this week. Upton got one Monday, CarGo got 2 yesterday. That means that Stanton should be good for 3 tonight, right?
Rich- It sounds like you've had some crappy luck so far this season with cold starts and tough pitching matchups. Seems to me that for your sake, Stanton has gotta hit 3 tonight!
I have had some rough luck, but this week it seems to be turning around (finally). CarGo with 2 last night, Hosmer, Upton and Dunn pitching in HRs as well. I've got a line of 12/6/11/2/.400 OBP this week, so hopefully things keep rolling.
This week, getting pitching categories will be a struggle though. I'm facing double starts from Worley/Price/Gio and my only 2 start guy is Morrow. Zito, Ubaldo and Feldman all getting lit up would really help me out a lot today. Not sure why the guy I'm facing picked up Feldman to spot start against the Yankees. He's going to have 3-4 more starts than I will this week as-is, so it's not like he'll need the K's.

I believe that his full name is Giancarlo Cruz Michael Stanton. He previously just went with Mike Stanton and my guess he wanted to honor his heritage so went with Giancarlo, his actual first name. But I don't know for sure. Just speculation on my part.
