12-team, H2H, 6x6 league (R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG., OPS. for hitters, and W, SV, K, Holds, ERA, WHIP for pitchers).

Keeper league, we keep 4:

3B - Ryan Roberts
SS - Hanley Ramirez
OF - Ryan Braun
OF - Curtis Granderson
OF - Shin-Soo Choo
Util - Nolan Reimold
B - Dustin Ackley
B - Mike Trout
B - Bryce Harper
DL - Mike Morse

SP - Adam Wainwright, Tommy Hanson, Matt Garza, Barry Zito, Ted Lilly
RP - Huston Street, Mike Adams, Fernando Rodney, Brett Myers, Henry Rodriguez


On the surface, i desperately need the pitching help, but i can't help but wonder if Prince is beign undersold just a little. I'm reticent to accept this deal, especially in a keeper.

Who is available on your WW? There is no way that Harper or Trout are going to be one of your top 4 players heading into next season. Unless you begin keeping a larger percentage of your roster it's almost always a wiser decision to keep the best 4 players for the upcoming season. That said, I would explore letting Harper and Trout walk if there are some decent options available. Is there someone to split time with Pena when he goes cold? Or are there some decent starters out there that you could spot start? You're pitching is bad, but if you can find a decent collection of guys out there you don't need to make this trade.

Yeah what kind of SP'ers are on the FA/WW? If there are some decent options I would think about dropping Trout for one of them and turning down this trade. You definitely need SP'ing, but I dont know about having Carlos Pena as your everyday 1B.

Maybe try and trade Trout for a middle-tier SP? That way you can keep Prince.

Thanks for the comments. The pitching is indeed a sore spot. As far as pitching on the WW, i'm not looking at much, such as Ross Detwiler, Kyle Drabek, Brandon McCarthy, Ivan Nova, Jake Arrieta... not amazing options, but those are the best.

As far as 1B "platoon" options, i've got Ike Davis, Adam LaRoche, Todd Helton on the WW. Again, not great. My pitching is just so awful, though, this trade almost seems worth it... wondering if i can get more input here...
