I'm in a 12 team mlb . com fantasy league with h2h point matchups each week. Here's my lineup:

I originally offered Adrian Gonzalez and Rickie Weeks for Dustin Pedroia and Ichiro Suzuki. That trade was vetoed by my league because people are jealous of my team and were expressing concerns about competitive imbalance. So now I've offered Adrian Gonzalez and Rickie Weeks for Dustin Pedroia in what I consider a serious overpay. This trade has been vetoed a number of times - even by a team that scored more points than me last week. I'm trying to build a case that this is a ridiculous overpay and shouldn't be vetoed. The team I'm trading with is in last place in our division, so I've suggested that this trade would actually enhance competitive balance by helping to improve that team. Is there anyone who can help build my case that this is an overpay on my part? Thanks...

Yes. I agree. I would be doing backflips too. In my auction draft AGon went for $44 and Pedroia went for $27. That should tell you everything you need to know.

How was that trade vetoed, and how is Adrian Gonzalez on your bench in a 12 team league?

I would try to work out a completely different trade.. if your league doesn't let anything go through, definitely find a new league.

Why are they jealous of that team? It isn't really all that for 12 team league. That being said, they are being crazy stupid for complaining about that deal. AGon for Pedroia is an overpay on your part by itself. I don't get it. Good luck!

Take back that offer and reconsider your league. That offer is overpaying twice over.

every player in his starting lineup is a 8th rounder or better in a 12 teamer, how is that possible, try to even recreate the draft

I forgot to mention I had traded Jose Bautista, Josh Willingham, Chase Headley, and Yoenis Cespedes for Wright, AGon, Kendrick, and Pierzinsky around the time when Wright had his injured finger.
