I give: Hunter Pence
I get: BJ Upton
I know its early but I am currently dead last in steals and looking at my roster as of right now I unfortunately do not see that changing. Plus I dont know how serious this shoulder injury of Pence's really is. The owner I am looking to trade with knows of the injury but is still willing to go through with the deal. Here is my team:
12 team 5x5 roto redraft
C- Matt Wieters
1B - Joey Votto
2B- Howie Kendrick
3B- Pablo Sandoval
SS- Derek Jeter
OF- Jayson Werth
OF- Matt Holliday
OF- Hunter Pence
UT- Brennan Boesch
UT- Alex Presley
Bn- Daniel Murphy
DL- Jacoby Ellsbury
DL- Allen Craig
SP- Jon Lester
SP- Matt Garza
RP- Joel Hanrahan
RP- Frank Francisco
P- Sean Marshall
P- Hector Santiago
P- Francisco Cordero
Bn- Brandon McCarthy
Bn- Jake Peavy
Bn- Anibal Sanchez
Bn- Cory Luebke

I say hold no. Pence is worth more than BJ Upton. Offer him Werth. Point out his hot start (which is inflated by a .395 BABIP, so SELL HIGH!).

He wont go for Werth. He needs batting average help and believes Pence is .300 plus hitter

First off I wouldn't trade Werth if your hurting for steals as he will most likely be good for around 20 steals. And I agree that Pence is worth way more than Upton. I would try and go after Dee Gordon if you can. Maybe Jeter for D. Gordon. Theres no way Jeter maintains his hot start and D. Gordon may have a low AVG but he should be good for 80 maybe even close to 90-100 steals.
help me out if you can

Those are pretty lofty predictions, I'd say realistically Dee can steal 65-75 and that at the highest end. But I don't like how little you're getting in return of Pence. I wouldn't be too concerned with the shoulder injury, try and shoot a little higher than a BJ.

I'm trying to get Josh Johnson in the deal too for Anibal Sanchez but he currently isn't too fond of that....
