Deal for Cespedes? WHIR

Postby sigriffey » Mon Apr 23, 2012 2:14 pm

The owner who has Cespedes could use pitching. What's a good offer for Cespedes?

Chris Sale, perhaps. Everyone above him on your rotation would be too much.

Would Romero for Cespedes be an overpay or worth doing? He's high on Cespedes.

In my opinion, major overpay. I don't see Cespedes finishing in the top 30 for OF. Maybe not even not 40. I'm not high on him...I think he's actually playing a bit above himself right now. Just wait until pitchers figure him out.

Big overpay. I wouldn't want Cespedes. I would sell if I had him.

Deal for Cespedes? WHIR

I don't know. As a cespedes owner, there is no way that I would sell for sale, Zimmerman or even Romero. The thing is, we still don't know what he is. But, there is definitely star potential.

Additionally, with all the steals thus far, it appears that he will still hold good value even if the bat goes cold for a while.

I like the guy more than most his downside is Mark Reynolds who is still valuable but I don't think he will even get that low due to the fact he can steal bases routinely. I think if I had him I would want more than Romero tbh but I for sure wouldn't offer less.
