Would you use the #1 waiver on Youkilis and if so who would you drop? My thought is no, but just wanted to make sure. I would need to do it today if I'm going to.
If you wouldnt use it on Youkilis, then who are you saving it for? I understand it's not the same Youkilis we've seen in years past, but I dont think his value has shot down that far. I say he's still good for 20 HR's and solid RBI/run production.

Where would I play him on a regular basis? I have 1b, 3b, and UTIL pretty locked up. I would hope that someone would drop a SP that I could use my #1 on if I don't do it for Youk. I missed the boat on Anibal Sanchez a couple weeks ago.
Yeah Youk wouldnt get everyday playing time on your team, but he still holds a solid amount of trade value.
It's a shame you missed out on Anibal
I suppose if guys like Anibal Sanchez and Kevin Youkilis are being dropped, then you can wait for someone that fits your needs a little more. I think I would probably use my #1 waiver claim on Youk and it would give me the luxury of playing matchups. And it would make my other corner infielders a little easier to part with in a trade.
Dont expect the same Youk from the past, but I think he might be a good source for a .275 avg, 80 runs, 20-25 HR's, 80 RBI.
