I love Lawrie. He's going to be a stud. So is Heyward though. Adding Hanson to the deal makes it an ugly deal. I would counter with Heyward for Lawrie straight up.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Trade my Hanson and Heyward for Lawrie in a Dynasty?

Postby lastingsgriller » Mon Apr 23, 2012 12:18 pm

A week ago I would have said make the trade, no doubt. And normally a weeks worth of games wouldn't change my mind. But there is something different about heyword. I suppose it is what is possible if he does get it figured put.

If I were you, I would try to delay this deal to get a better look at j-hey. But of course, if he nose dives it could derail the deal.

I'm sorry, that response probably didn't help much.

I tried counter-offering that exact same trade, citing that they're both similar 22-year old studs playing different positions. He rejected it saying that the ADP makes it even since Lawrie's a op 50 ADP and Hanson/Heyward is in the 100s. I don't think it matters but looks like I have to overpay if this deal gets done.

I would just ride Heyward then. He was injured last year and still had an exceptional year for a 21 year old. The only reason I prefer Lawrie over Heyward is the position. I don't think that's enough to justify overpaying this much. Try including Humber instead if you really want to make something happen. The perfect game hype should be enough to get the deal done. Hanson is too good to be considered a throw in.
