LoDuca still probably grades out ahead of these guys for this year - especially with his position eligibility at 3 spots.

I'd wait 1-2 weeks probably as my preference is to play for the current year rather than planning my keepers for next year at this point of the season.

That's what I figured, I guess I just don't want to lose these guys b/c I had a full roster of older players on the down side of their careers.

I think Castro's going to have a break out this year. He's been doing real well. All he needed was the ABs.

Not really sure how he has done so far in the minors, but might be a little overrated because of the whole Moneyball thing.

Good point - we shouldn't forget about Brown. He had a decent season at Midland last year, although not quite as good as the year before at Visalia. His average dipped a bit to .275, and he wasn't hitting for much power (his OBP and SLG were almost identical). His BB/K ratio was excellent, of course...

At this point, I'm not as excited about him as I am about several of the other names listed here. At this point, it's possible that Brown will turn out to be considerably more valuable on the diamond than in fantasy games.
