Zimmerman/Beckett for Adam Jones/T Hanson WHIR

I'm in need of a third baseman. I'd like to grab Zimmer while he's cold to start the year. The thing is A. Jones is HOT and Hanson is pitching better than Beckett. Is this trade worth it for the 3B?

I would do it. Jones is going to cool off soon, Zimmerman fits perfectly into your roster. Beckett/Hanson is a wash imo.

Hmm, I like the Jones/Hanson side more to be honest, but in your situation your OF is deep, so its probably worth it.

I like the Beckett/Zimms side...they're both cold now but by year's end they'll both have the better stat line.

Especially with my depth at OF I think I may do it. Crawford's coming back in a few weeks so I'll probably dump one of those OF any way. We'll see.

Yep do it. Zimmerman is underrated and Jones is overrated. Perfect storm for you.

I would still do the trade even though it is for Cueto instead of Hanson, because like others have said Jones will cool off and the Red Soxs in general will pickup including Beckett.
