You're giving away the best player in the deal, and getting back a guy in Upton, who has has lingering injury issues the whole season so far. Even if Upton was completely healthy I wouldn't do this.

I don't think I would but it isn't bad. Felix is better than Shields, Cabrera is better than Upton and the difference between both sets almost equal out. The thing is that Cabrera is the best player of the 4 and you should usually keep the best player.

As an Upton owner I would urge caution and wait until he shows his thumb is healthy before trading for him.
