I am in a 12-team H2H Keeper (6-6) league. I temporarily punted the HOLDS category to pick up a few starters that have been on fire/have potential. Most recently, I dropped my last start-up guy for Jarrod Parker. Any thoughts on him? Any feedback on temporarily punting HOLDS? (The reason why I am doing it this week is because my opponent has 3 set up guys so I feel like that category is lost)

Was thinking the same. My H2H league is deep and it's points not roto categories. Was thinking of dropping McCarthy for Parker. I don't really want to drop Kenley Jansen...or Carlos Zambrano.

He is worth spot starting but I wouldn't expect a lot from him. He is a good pitcher but like most rookies there is likely going to be some ups and downs. I wouldn't expect him to pull a Pineda type year or anything but you no one really knows for sure. Pitching him at home against favorable matchups or against Seattle and he should be ok for you. Probably not worth keeping all year though unless this is a deep keeper or he surprises.

I wouldn't drop McCarthy for him. McCarthy will likely have more value all year than Parker. Zambrano would be first on my drop list. Does your points league count holds? If not then not sure it is worth keeping Jansen either but that really depends on how deep the league is.

we have 10 bench spots. No holds, but I really think Jansen will be closing at some point this year. Is it worth holding him? I dunno.
