2 trades- like either or both? WHIR

Postby mzkp54 » Sun Apr 22, 2012 2:48 pm

Hey guys,

I'm in a 12 team, H2H, 6X6 league.

Categories are:
R, HR, RBI, SB, OBP, K
ERA, WHIP, QS, K, SV, HLD

My team is as follows:

C- Wieters
1B- Miggy
2B- Kendrick
3B- Beltre
SS- Aybar
OF- Granderson, Hart, Boesch
U- A-rod, Pena
Bench- J Weeks, M Aviles, M Joyce

SP- Haren, Wainwright, Latos, Cuteo, Cahill, Bucholz
RP- Perez, Rodney, J Lopez, F Rodriguez, Guerrier, Stammen.

Offer 1: Was offered Cain and BJ Upton for Granderson and Pena. Don't love it because I'd be giving up Granderson who I see as the best player. What do you think?

Offer 2: Was thinking of trying to move Corey Hart for Michael Bourn. I don't really have a lot of speed on my team, and think I can afford to lose the power.

Which do you think I should try and pursue, if either, or maybe both? Leave a link, and thanks

Cliff Lee was also just put on the trading block. Do you think I could make a good offer with my roster?

Definitely not the first, I would consider the second if you think you can deal with the power loss.

Deal 1: No Way.
Deal 2: Absolutely if you think you can get it done but I have a feeling the owner values Bourn way more than Hart. Bourn can almost win you a category by himself so I don't think you can get him for a middle of the pack OF.

As for Lee, I would see if you can do a deal but always depends on what the guys wants in return. If you could deal ARod for him, then i would be all over it.
