Well...kind of flip flop. Volquez if you need Ks and can take the hit on your ERA and WHIP, Floyd if you need an average pitcher in all categories, which means some good games and as many melt downs down the road and Liriano if you can wait for his talent to show up eventually and if you have the time and patient to bench him for a little longer until the weather in Minnesota warms up and he starts having a better grip and feeling for the ball.

Oh god. Well, Volquez and Liriano are kind of the same guy. Could potentially be a Cy Young pitcher, but just never (EVER) seems to put the "talent" together. Both could have good K rates, but both also could submarine your ERA/WHIP. I'd steer clear until one shows something.

Between Nicasio and Floyd, I'd say Floyd is the safer bet. He won't kill you in any one thing, and has proven in the past he can be a fairly useful fantasy pitcher, while Nicasio still has a bit to prove to me before I'd want to roster him over Floyd.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

I don't like Liriano or Volquez at all. I actually own Nicasio, he has great stuff from what I hear and decent K-BB walk ratios. Floyd is safe to do what he does but that is just the lower end of your rotation. If you like upside, go with Nicasio. Just know there will be some headaches. I'd have to suggest going with Floyd here.
