Hardy and Weeks (waiver wire decisions) WHIR

Both J.J. Hardy and Ricky Weeks have hit the waiver wire in the last day.. both have had pretty dry starts (weeks especially).. I have aybar and a. ramirez along with cano and n. walker respectively covering ss and 2b. I don't think any of those is worth a drop/swap.. other opinions?

10 team mixed so there's a decent amount of talent in the FA pool, but those are two that are above average. I think Hardy is a maybe... but I'm torn. I think aybar is in for a pretty big year once (if) his team finally starts living up to their expectations. I think his ceiling is high due to surrounding cast, where Hardy is stuck where he's at. Not much room to go up.

Other possible expendables on my team: moustakas, youkilis, j. montero.

Maybe montero, but I've got Molina and I'm waiting for Montero to be catcher eligible.. Don't really want to lose him unless I have to.

Considering the fact that you already have Camp I might hold off on weeks. JJ is an upgrade over both aybar and alexei, so he makes the most sense.

If you can get both go for it. That way you have trade bait. If not, go for Hardy, he should be able to help your team in the long run.

I agree with above poster, get both - but I think you can safely ditch Walker for Weeks in a 10 teamer.

Weeks is a must add and should never ever be a FA. he is several tiers better than Neil Walker.
and hardy is better than both of your SS. He will hit twice as many HRs as Alexei and Baltimore's lineup is actually pretty decent so his runs/rbi will be favorable compared to Aybar as well. You can drop either of them but I'd prefer to hang onto Aybar so you can swap him in if you need SB's.
