Some of you have tried streaming fantasy replacement level pitchers as a way of building up counting stats from your lower rotation spots. I'm interested in trying that.
Thought maybe we could have an ongoing thread about good candidates for upcoming games. Not everyone's waiver wire matches, of course. But if we assume the top 40 SP's are off the board in general, maybe this would be useful.
I don't actually see much appealing for Saturday except maybe Vogelsong.
Sunday looks like Lohse (vs. PIT) and Dempster (vs. CIN, but health in question).

Well Dempster isn't really a streaming candidate as he 80% owned in Yahoo. Generally "streamers" are guys who are under 50% owned, usually under 30%. And there is a plethora of streaming advice on this forum; do you read the Articles that come out? Often there are streaming suggestions there.

Thanks... I have not read those articles yet. Percent ownership seems like a good criteria, I agree.

I posted earlier but it disappeared.
I've got Westbrook v PIT as well as Humber vs SEA. I'm in a 12 team H2H with 5 SP cats(and Holds and Saves). I'm already behind in WHIP so I'm not too worried about the quality stats.
It's a league where I can make 12 adds per week. I can add them even if I choose later not to use them....
Got Zito and Zambrano going tonight....
I'm a newbie so I'm not quite sure what of I'mdoing sometimes.

Nice going with the Humber pick! A perfect game!
I scored well with Lohse today. Unfortunately, I also had Billingsley, whose slot is now going into the stream. I'm trying Peavy tomorrow. Think I'd rather have Peavy against the A's than Colon against the Chisox.

Yeah Humber was a great pickup.
But what I haven't posted yet was that I left him on the bench...... that hurt !!
